The charities we are supporting this year
Rook Irwin Sweeney remains committed to supporting charities which share our values. This year, we are proud to be supporting three charities: two working with those affected by the conflict in Ukraine and another working with refugees in the UK.
Voices of Children is a Ukraine-based charitable foundation providing psychological and psychosocial support to children who have been affected by the conflict.
The Ukraine VGO coalition is a network of 118 Ukrainian local non-governmental organisations for people with intellectual disabilities, representing about 14 thousand families from all the regions of Ukraine. Donations are being coordinated and distributed by Inclusion International, whose members work to create a world where people with intellectual disabilities and their families can take part and be valued equally in all areas of their lives.
Closer to home, Aid Box Community is a grassroots humanitarian organisation in Bristol, which provides practical aid and community to hundreds of refugees and people who have been forcibly displaced.
Each of these charities provides crucial support to the people they work with, and we’re delighted to be in a position to support them.
