We’re celebrating one year since our launch

We’re pleased to be celebrating one year since Rook Irwin Sweeney was launched, in April 2020.

We have quickly established a reputation for upholding our clients’ rights and running strategic cases relevant to the issues of the day. We have acted pro bono in a number of cases, and continue to operate our Social Justice Fund, which has so far provided free legal support and advice on education, health and social care issues to over twenty clients.

In the last year, the three founding partners – Alex Rook, Anne-Marie Irwin and Polly Sweeney – have been joined by a fourth partner, Caroline Barrett, and solicitor Alice Cullingworth. Our growing legal team is now supported by consultant practice manager Samantha Patrick and litigation assistant Anisha Hirani.

We would like to thank our clients and all who have supported the firm so far and look forward to continuing to work with you in the coming year and beyond.
