Rook Irwin Sweeney LLP instructed in challenge to Low Traffic Neighbourhoods
Rook Irwin Sweeney LLP are instructed by a Disabled resident of Lambeth in a challenge to the Council’s “Low Traffic Neighbourhood” schemes which have led to road closures across the borough.
We are also instructed by a Disabled resident of Hackney to challenge road closures made under Hackney’s “School Streets” scheme.
Both of our clients argue that the closures – which were implemented by way of Experimental Traffic Orders – were enacted without consultation and without regard to their needs and the needs of other Disabled residents of their boroughs.
There will be a final hearing in both cases between 8 and 11 June 2021.
