Rook Irwin Sweeney shortlisted for prestigious legal awards
Rook Irwin Sweeney has been shortlisted for two prestigious Law Society Awards, the highest accolade for law firms in England and Wales.
The firm has been shortlisted in the categories of Small Law Firm of the Year and Excellence in Upholding the Rule of Law. Since launching in April 2020, the firm has established a reputation for upholding our clients’ rights as well as acting in strategic cases relevant to the issues of the day.
In support of the firm’s nominations, one client commented that “As well as being brilliant lawyers, their motivation and determination to uphold the rule of law and to ensure access to justice – to make our society better – is always inspiring.”
Law Society of England and Wales president I. Stephanie Boyce said: “Congratulations to all those who have been shortlisted. After an extraordinary year, it has never been more important to celebrate the outstanding work of our profession.
“Solicitors play a vital role in times of crisis as people turn to trusted professionals, to explain the law, advise them on their rights and their obligations, and give them some sense of certainty.
“As the country emerges from the pandemic, solicitors will be there every step of the way to help people and businesses get back on their and ensure access to justice and the rule of law.”
Winners will be announced in an online ceremony on 7 October.
